Hello, I’m Jinx. Since I’m 30 and you’re most likely an adult, you can call me Jonathan. You may have noticed my gallery doesn’t have a single theme or that my style seems to be all over the place. That’ll happen when you’ve been working at a street shop for a couple years trying to produce for a wide variety of clientelle. Hopefully you’re thinking “this guy’s got range! I’m sure he could do anything I ask him,” and for the most part you’d be right. But if you’re not, don’t worry, I’ll let you know if you’ve stumped me and refer you to the right guy or gal for the job.
I prefer to do appointments in person instead of over the phone. I know its a pain to drive over and meet me, but trust me, when it comes to custom work, I still believe feeling out a customer’s personality and collection goals is very important. If you live out of state I can still accommodate your appointment without a face to face meeting, but be prepared to send me photos of yourself and the area you would like to have work on.

Today I got two amazing tattoos done by Jinx (don’t let the nickname fool you). Actually one was a “touch up” of an old tattoo, but he basically redid the entire thing and I like the finished product far better than I did the first time. I was completely satisfied with the results and astounded with his ability to work with such a small, detailed piece. I’ll definitely be getting all my tattoos by Jinx from now on! – Aedan

I had work done here in 2001. Two weeks ago, I went to Phoenix to get some ink done (keep in mind, I am living in Yuma!). When I got to the shop I had chosen, they were all booked out. They proceeded to send me to a number of other shops in the area, which were all booked or closed (this was a Sunday afternoon). At 2:00 my wife reminded me of Majestik and that Tucson was only 90 miles or so away. I happily got on I-10 west and made a call to Lenny at Majestik. He assured me that walk-ins were accepted all day. We got to 3:30 and talked with a Lenny and Josh and both referred me to Johnny Jinx. After talking with Jinx, he agreed to take on the job. At 8:30, I sat down in the chair after my artist got a quick bite to eat. In just three hours of work, Jinx had created an amazing piece. It looked like it was painted on. An awesome Celtic Cross about 5-6in tall and 4in wide. Really stellar work. I hear Jinx is booked out three months so you probably want to call now. Majestik is filled with great artists, all with special talents. The hours are great. The shop is clean and professional. The prices are very reasonable for the top notch work.
